About the book

Alimur, the baby lynx, has disappeared. Globi immediately embarks on an exciting search to find him. Luckily, he is not alone, because you get to create a child who accompanies him on his mission.
Along the way, they meet a variety of forest animals and have a whole load of fun.
The book is illustrated by Daniel Frick who is a seasoned Globi illustrator.

What can be personalized?

In addition to being able to choose the child’s name, you can also personalize the lead character’s skin colour, hair colour, hairstyle, clothing and language. And, because nobody is ever too old to take part in a Globi adventure, there is also the option of choosing grey hair - or no hair at all. Try out our configurator and create the lead character just as you want them.

Celebrating 50 years of the lynx’s reintroduction to Switzerland

This unique Globi book is a collaboration between Librio and the Globi-Publishing house and is also perfectly timed to mark the 50th Anniversary of the first lynx in Switzerland.
With a shoulder height of 70cm, the lynx is the largest wildcat in Europe. In 1971 the first lynxes were brought to the canton of Obwalden, which was the start of a successful resettlement. Around 250 lynxes now live in Switzerland.

Who is Globi?

Created in 1932, Globi is Switzerland’s best-known, most-loved children’s character. Imagine all the children’s characters you grew up with rolled into one figure. His books have sold over 9 million copies and are a staple of Swiss childhood memories.

Globi is a funny, cheeky, cheerful and inventive fellow - even when many of his inventions don’t really work. His boundless curiosity leads him on an array of adventures and now your little one can be part of his newest.
